Hi, I’m Katie from Spijkerkats Closet, If you didn’t see my last guest blog here is a little bit about me.

I’m a plus size/“inbetweenie” fashion blogger. I like to call my personal style “everyday pinup”. My style is influenced by the 50s and pin up, but you won’t see me in wiggle dresses with foundation garments and victory rolls in my hair on a daily basis. My outfits also need to be comfortable and practical, and I’m often partial to modern cuts too. A simple hairstyle, a hair flower, red lips or a strand of pearls can add a touch of pin up glamor to any outfit, as can certain patterns, such as polka dots, floral and cherries. This is what you will often see in my outfits, rather than a full blown pin up girl.

Today I’m reviewing another pairs of shoes from Fancy Shoe Land and showing you how I would style them.

The Flats

The flats I am wearing are “Tina” sandal in red, they are a bejeweled flip flop style sandal and they are available in sizes 5-12. If you aren’t a fan of red, they are also available in black, silver and pink.

Not only are these shoes pretty, they are quite comfortable. I wore them out & about for the first time and had no issues with rubbing or sore spots. This is something that often happens with new shoes, so I was really pleased about that.
They are the most beautiful patent red, with red rhinestones set in silver tone.

My first look is very simple and casual, I’ve worn a short swing dress from Kmart and accessorized with red Ray Ban Wayfarers.

There is a lot of red in this outfit but I think the adorable white cherry print breaks it up a little and besides, red is one of my favorite colours to wear!

This is an outfit I could throw on with minimal styling but still feel cute & girly, no jewellery required with the pretty bling in the shoes.

I’d wear them to the beach over my swimsuit or on a very warm summer day as it’d very light fabric.

My second look is dressier, but still a day time look.

I’ve worn a floral skirt from City Chic & top from Kmart, accessorised with a City Chic Belt & a Colette headscarf.

Overall it’s a much less colourful outfit, but still features red in the skirt to match the gorgeous shoes.
This is an outfit I’d wear to work, shopping or out for a meal.

My shoes arrived within 4 working days (which is pretty speedy to WA!) and were sized based on measurements available on fancyshoeland.com and all pairs fit perfectly.   All emails are responded to in a pleasant and timely fashion and I would happily purchase from Fancy Shoe Land in the future.

There are so many gorgeous heels I am eyeing up and I’m sure a pair or two will end up on Spijkerkats Closet in the not too distant future!
